Born from a collective of dedicated rescuers, feeders, and animal advocates, the Animal Kindness Coalition (AKC) was officially registered on 7 July 2023 to address the critical issue of stray animal welfare in Malaysia.
Our vision is a stray-free Malaysia where humans and animals co-exist in a safe, compassionate, and inclusive environment. We are led by a passionate team and advised by respected community leaders, all united by a single purpose: to protect and care for the animals within our communities.

Our strategy is built on three pillars of action that create sustainable, long-term change.
At our core is the scientifically proven Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return-Manage (TNVRM) program. We run structured projects to humanely control stray populations, and have successfully completed a community pilot project approved by local council MBPJ.
We engage with schools, universities, and the public through webinars, workshops, and community events to teach responsible pet ownership and foster a kinder generation.
We work at the highest levels to sow the seeds of change, presenting memorandum at the Parliament and meeting with government bodies to advocate for stronger animal welfare laws and advocating for a national "No-Kill" policy.
